Felecia Hanesworth Named Executive Director, School-Based Services
Solace Pediatric Healthcare, in partnership with The Hello Foundation, is proud to announce the addition of Felecia Hanesworth as Executive Director for School-Based Services.
A speech therapist by trade, Hanesworth earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders and Sciences from State University of New York at Buffalo. She also earned her Master’s degrees in Education from Medaille University and Canisius College in Buffalo.
“As someone who has dedicated my entire career to education and serving students, as a speech therapist, college administrator and school district administrator, I am thrilled to join Solace Pediatric Healthcare and The Hello Foundation community to continue my work alongside other clinicians,” said Hanesworth.
“We could not be more thrilled to have Felecia joining our team! Felecia shares our dedication in supporting our employees and removing barriers for them so they can best serve our kids and the school communities we are fortunate to be a part of. Felecia’s enthusiasm is contagious,” adds Darcie Peacock, Chief Executive Officer at Solace Pediatric Healthcare.
Prior to joining The Hello Foundation, Hanesworth taught a variety of subjects as Program Director at Medaille College and served in various school administration roles, including Director of Special Education in the Cleveland Hill School District, Aspire of Western New York/Center for Learning, Health Sciences Charter School and Westminster Community Charter School.
“As the Executive Director, my goal is to listen to the needs and concerns of all stakeholders in our growing community. Through collaboration, we will create a shared vision that ensures everyone is supported and receives what they need to provide exceptional services to the communities we serve,” adds Hanesworth.
