At Solace Pediatric Home Healthcare we love our employees and we love to celebrate their successes. From employee appreciation day to the weekly huddle to catered lunch on their first day, we love showing our appreciation! Our featured employee today is Michelle from our Patient Financial Services department.
Michelle first heard about Solace after reading our positive reviews online. After interviewing and learning more about the Solace culture and Mike starting the company out of his garage, she knew she had to work here. She was inspired by his commitment to create a company that would provide the best therapy to children while also providing the best work environment for employees. “It made me realize Mike and leadership believe in the importance of a great team and I want to be part of that”. So Michelle joined the Solace Team and, after just 6 months in our billing department, she is recognized as The Solace Employee of the Month!
The Solace Employee of the Month is the employee that best represents our core values of Positivity, Communication, Efficiency, Excellence, Improvement, Integrity, Progressiveness, and Responsiveness for the month. This accomplishment is one of Michelle’s shining moments because she feels it truly reflects the environment here at Solace Pediatric Home Healthcare: hard work is appreciated. Michelle would describe the culture as very positive, caring, welcoming, understanding and like a small family. She says you truly know what’s going on with people; when someone is out for the day, it’s noticed because people care and want to help out.
It’s been said that Michelle is “always willing to brighten someone’s day!” and if you ever need a boost of positivity, stopping by her desk is a great way to turn that frown upside down. You might wonder how she does it. Is she superwoman? Maybe. But Michelle says she is able to maintain her attitude by the knowledge of what she is doing – helping children live their best lives (and lots of caffeine).
We could all learn a bit from Michelle whose motto is “be kind, be courteous, do unto others”. We are glad to have her on our team! Thanks for being you Michelle and congrats on earning Employee of the Month!
