Evidence-based, one on one activity and play therapy approaches are used to optimize learning and functional gains within natural contexts. Clinicians incorporate child and family perspectives, their clinical experience and training and evidence based to design a comprehensive program targeted to achieving patient and family goals. With over 300 clinicians serving over 4,000 children throughout the state, we provide more than 24,000 visits per month for short term to acute therapy to families in Denver, Colorado Springs, Loveland, Fort Collins, Aurora, Highlands Ranch, Parker and all surrounding counties. What will you do? Pediatric Physical Therapist Job Description:

As a pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) you will provide services including; evaluation, documentation, parent education and provide one on one evidence based therapy in a child?s home, day care or other location in their natural environment including (but not limited to):

  • Balance, Flexibility, Strengthening, Coordination
  • Locomotor skills and play skills
  • Neurological disorders including injuries and genetic conditions
  • Functional Mobility
  • Developmental Milestones (Early Intervention)
  • Neurological Disorders
  • Orthopedic & Sports Injuries

Clinicians incorporate child and family perspectives, their clinical experience and training and the evidence to design comprehensive programs targeted to achieving patient and family goals. Solace places a strong emphasis on the use of outcome measurement and incorporation of evidence based practice in developing plans of care.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team led by an experienced mentor that meets once per month in the area that you serve. Visit is a visit
At Solace, your visit is one-on-one therapy time working with the child on their plan of care. Our amazing office staff provides support for all of your non-clinical needs from scheduling to billing to provider office coordination. This allows you to focus on what you love doing, providing therapy!

Our intelligent scheduling platform optimizes your caseload to reduce downtime and drive time between each visit; including emailing weekly visit confirmation messages to each of your families and texting your arrival time!

Who we serve
When you join Solace Pediatric Home Healthcare, you will have an opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of children, ages birth to 21, ranging from developmental delays to medically complex cases and rare genetic conditions. We take all major insurances, medicaid and we work with the local Early Intervention (EI) Community Centered Boards (CCBs).

Caseload

We offer an amazing program for all of our Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) which includes one-on-one support from a PT who specializes in pediatric home healthcare. Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant Jobs – Requirements:

  • Associate?s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school of Physical Therapy
  • DORA (Department of Regulatory Agencies) Licensed to practice in the state of Colorado (required by start date)

As a pediatric Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) you will provide one on one evidence based therapy in a child?s home, day care or other location in their natural environment under the required guidelines of an experienced OT supervisor.
